Framed through a distinctly West African lens, the convening in Accra brought together entrepreneurs, investors, academics, and policymakers to examine climate change and the transition to net zero in the region. In collaboration with the Autodesk Foundation, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), and the Ghana Climate Innovation Centre, the discussions moved between practical barriers—such as limited early-stage capital, regulatory hurdles, and infrastructure gaps—and the immense opportunities emerging from the transition. Entrepreneurs shared locally rooted innovations, while investors explored ways to unlock finance that reaches diverse and underrepresented founders. The shared vision was to ensure that the benefits of climate action—new industries, jobs, and technologies—are accessible to all, creating an inclusive, resilient, and opportunity-rich future for West Africa
